Privacy

Private storage

Diary entries and their images use private storage. Access requires your signed-in account, and delivery links expire after a short time.

Images and metadata

We retain the untouched original diary photograph separately. Corrected pages and image overlays are re-encoded to remove unnecessary embedded metadata.

Retention and deletion

We keep entries and stored images until you delete your account. Deletion marks data first, removes stored objects, and then removes the account identity. If storage is temporarily unavailable, deletion can be retried without making marked entries visible again.

Limits of these guarantees

Our database and storage providers encrypt traffic and stored data. No service can promise protection from every device compromise, stolen credential, provider outage, or legal request.
