Using sosohan
sosohan is a personal diary for handwritten pages, photos, videos, overlays, stickers, and tags. You may use the local diary without creating an account. By using sosohan, you agree to use it lawfully and responsibly.
Your content
You keep ownership of the content you create or upload. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for that content, including photos, videos, and stickers, and for making sure that your use of the app does not infringe another person's rights.
Local storage
Your diary is stored on your device by default. Local data can be lost if you remove the app or browser data, lose the device, or otherwise lose access to its storage. You are responsible for keeping any local or exported copies you want to preserve.
Encrypted backup and restore
An account is required only for optional encrypted backup and restore between devices. The app encrypts diary content and media before uploading them. Supabase and Cloudflare R2 store account, synchronization metadata, and encrypted vault objects. Your backup passphrase is not sent to us, and an encrypted backup cannot be recovered if you lose it.
The web app is read-only for synced diaries. It downloads and decrypts a backup locally for viewing; it does not create, edit, or upload diary content. The current app does not provide AI analysis.
Account deletion
You can delete your account from Settings. Account deletion removes your account and encrypted backup data held by our service and cannot be undone. It does not remove local copies already stored on your devices.
Availability and changes
We work to keep sosohan available, but the app and its supporting services may change or be interrupted for maintenance, security, or reasons outside our control. We may update these terms as the service evolves and will update the date above.
Disclaimer
sosohan is provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent allowed by law, Pineple is not responsible for loss of local diary data, exported copies, or access caused by a device, browser, operating system, storage failure, lost passphrase, or service interruption.
Agreement
When you create an account, you must confirm that you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. You may stop using sosohan or delete your account at any time.
